It was really touch and go there for Fireball Forward for awhile. Nathan and I got pulled in during the mother of all power outages on the East coast to make final edits to get it out the door. The good news is that it got to the printers on time (barely), so that’s done. Even better, it’s given Nathan and I some valuable experience when it comes to publishing rules systems, and should let us avoid some of the pitfalls our friend Mark ran into.
Between that and Nathan’s training, we didn’t have a lot of time to put together new scenarios or rules, but we managed to scramble enough and I’ve got updated sheets ready to go for the game. The big changes for this convention are the initial form of repeating actions and the single-token damage system. The latter I especially like over our previous model, so I’m pleased that we got it hashed out for Historicon.
Now that Fireball Forward is out, Nathan and I will have more time to dedicate to Silent Fury and I plan on posting a rules update with these changes sometime after the convention.
Bonus – if you want to see what I look like, I’m in a YouTube video for the tutorials for Fireball Forward.
